This is the second version of the Midtechs I introduced earlier this year. They are called Lightweight because instead of a stainless steel integral frame, they have 3D machined G-10 frames with stainless steel inserts.
For those who are not familiar with the term "midtech"; it is a knife half manufactured and half handmade. The reason why I started this midtech series is to offer the collectors one of my designs with a lot of custom features at a lower price. I have made full blown customs in the past very similar to the construction and materials in these midtechs and they sold for several hundred dollars more. Because I am working with outside vendors, I cannot predict the availability of these midtechs; I will try to have them in stock but I am at the mercy of their capacity.
